Our Services

Environmental Health

Through a variety of licenses and permits, Environmental Health staff monitors operations with public health significance and impact.

The goal of the emergency preparedness program is to prepare, mitigate, respond, and recover from public health emergencies.

Vital Stats

Vital Statistics provides various services including issuing Birth Certificates, if born in Ohio, as well as Death Certificates for those who perished in Wyandot County.

WIC

WIC provides support for new mothers and children by teaching breastfeeding, providing formula, cereal, fruits and vegetables as well as other support services.

Free Naloxone

Wyandot County Public Health offers free naloxone to the public to reduce opioid overdose deaths through harm reduction machines, community partners, and in office as supplies are available
Wyandot County Public Health is nationally accredited through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB). Established in 2007, PHAB is the non-profit organization that administers the national accreditation program, which aims to advance and transform public health practice by championing performance improvement, strong infrastructure, and innovation.
