VACCINES ARE FOR ADULTS, TOO!

Vaccines are an important piece of healthcare.  Humans are protected from vaccine-preventable disease soon after birth, even before leaving the hospital.  This first vaccine is the first in a series of three that protect against Hepatitis B which is just one of many diseases that can be avoided through vaccination.  Though vaccines are given to infants and school aged children, adults need to remember that immunizing against disease is just as important for them as well.  Please refer to the following checklist and contact your healthcare provider to make sure that, like children, you adults are up-to-date on YOUR vaccines.  Stay healthy through immunization!
