Wyandot County Public Health hosting back-to-school vaccine clinics

Wyandot County Public Health is holding back-to-school vaccination clinics from 12-6 p.m. Mondays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays at the health department, 127-A S. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky. Appointments are required and may be made by calling WCPH at 419-294-3852.

The child’s health insurance information should be available when scheduling the appointment.

By the first day of kindergarten, students should have:

  • Five doses of DTaP vaccine.
  • Four doses Polio vaccine.
  • Two doses MMR vaccine.
  • Three doses Hepatitis B vaccine.
  • Two doses Varicella (chickenpox) vaccine.
  • A current physical on file.

Seventh grade students should have:

  • One dose of the Tdap vaccine.
  • One dose of the Meningitis (ACWY) vaccine.

By the first day of 12th grade, students should have:

  • One dose of meningitis (ACWY) vaccine. Students are eligible for this dose after age 16.
Wyandot County Public Health is nationally accredited through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB).
