September 18, 2020: COVID-19 Update

September 18, 2020 Wyandot County Public Health COVID-19 Update:

Today we are reporting a total of 200 coronavirus cases.  This includes 177 lab-confirmed cases, 13 probable cases, and 10 probable cases based on positive antibody tests in Wyandot County.  There is currently one patient hospitalized for COVID-19.  Of the reported individuals, there have been 12 deaths and 180 recoveries.  Do not rely on the number of positive tests to determine when you need to protect yourself.  Please continue to practice social distancing, wear face coverings in public, clean and disinfect regularly, monitor your health daily, and wash your hands frequently.  

As of 2:00 PM Friday, the Ohio Department of Health has reported 142,596 confirmed and probable cases, 14,687 hospitalizations, and 4,608 deaths in Ohio.  For additional statewide case information, download the COVID Summary data spreadsheet here:  https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/static/COVIDSummaryData.csv
