Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is a major cause of infant death. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has designated October as SIDS Awareness Month. Remember the ABC's of infant sleeping. Babies should sleep Alone, on their Backs and in Cribs free of blankets, pillows, stuffed toys, and bumpers. Take the time to inform yourself (and all caregivers of your child) on the importance of safe sleep for infants.
