November 6, 2020: COVID-19 Update

November 6, 2020 Wyandot County Public Health COVID-19 Update:

Wyandot County Public Health is sadly reporting our 14th death due to COVID-19.  The Health Department continues to send sympathies to those families that have experienced a loss during this time.  We ask the public to be vigilant in protecting themselves and each other.

There are currently 59 active cases of COVID-19 in Wyandot County.  The cumulative case count since March 2020 is 373.  This includes 321 lab-confirmed cases, 42 probable cases, and 10 probable cases based on positive antibody tests.  There are currently 4 patients hospitalized for COVID-19.  Of the reported individuals, there have been 14 deaths and 300 recoveries.  

Please continue to practice social distancing, wear face coverings in public, clean and disinfect regularly, monitor your health daily, and wash your hands frequently.
