August 17, 2020 Wyandot County Public Health COVID-19 Update:
We are saddened to report the tenth death of a Wyandot County resident due to COVID-19. Our condolences go out to the family and friends of this individual.
Today we are reporting a total of 160 coronavirus cases. This includes 142 lab-confirmed cases, 10 probable cases, and 8 probable cases based on positive antibody tests in Wyandot County. There is currently one patient hospitalized for COVID-19. Of the reported individuals, there have been 10 deaths and 118 recoveries. Do not rely on the number of positive tests to determine when you need to protect yourself. Please continue to practice social distancing, wear face coverings in public, clean and disinfect regularly, monitor your health daily, and wash your hands frequently.
