TORNADOES & SEVERE WEATHER: Prepare yourself...

While tornadoes usually occur during tornado "season", March through June, a report from March 7, 2017 by Rich Exner of cleveland.com states that Ohio has had tornadoes year-round in every county, except Vinton, which has no recorded tornado activity.

The City of Upper Sandusky, in Wyandot County, Ohio, has a tornado alert system that sounds at 10:00 a.m., the first Wednesday of every month.  The alarm sound is a good reminder to citizens to always be prepared in the event of any severe weather.

Please visit the CDC website for information regarding preparation for tornadoes and severe weather.  Find out how you can be better prepared for your family, friends, neighbors, and community.
