July 7, 2020 Wyandot County Public Health COVID-19 Update:
Today we are reporting a total of 59 coronavirus cases. This includes 47 lab-confirmed cases, 6 probable cases, and 6 probable cases based on positive antibody tests in Wyandot County. There are currently no patients hospitalized for COVID-19. Of the reported individuals, there have been 5 deaths and 53 recoveries. Do not rely on the number of positive tests to determine when you need to protect yourself. Please continue to practice social distancing, wear face coverings in public, and self-quarantine when possible.
*The Wyandot County COVID-19 death number has been reduced by one today. After further review, it was determined that COVID-19 was not a contributing factor to a previously reported death.
As of 2:00 PM Tuesday, the Ohio Department of Health has reported 58,904 confirmed and probable cases, 8,383 hospitalizations, and 2,970 deaths in Ohio.
