June 12, 2020: COVID-19 Update

June 12, 2020 Wyandot County Public Health COVID-19 Update:

Wyandot County Public Health is saddened to report the fourth COVID related death in the county.  The patient was in his 80’s, and COVID-19 was identified as a contributing factor to his death.  Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.

Today we are reporting a total of 48* coronavirus cases.  This includes 42 lab confirmed cases and 6 probable cases in Wyandot County.  No patients are currently hospitalized.  Of the reported individuals, there have been 4 deaths and 42 recoveries.  Do not rely on the number of positive tests to determine when you need to protect yourself.  Please continue to practice social distancing, wear face coverings in public, and self-quarantine when possible.

*One confirmed case has been removed due to an error in reporting by the lab.
