June 11, 2020 Wyandot County Public Health COVID-19 Update:
Wyandot County Public Health is saddened to report the third COVID related death in the county. The patient was in her 90’s, and COVID-19 was identified as a contributing factor to her death. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time.
Today we are reporting a total of 49 coronavirus cases. This includes 43 lab confirmed cases and 6 probable cases in Wyandot County. Two patients are currently hospitalized. Of the reported individuals, there have been 3 deaths and 42 recoveries. Do not rely on the number of positive tests to determine when you need to protect yourself. Please continue to practice social distancing, wear face coverings in public, and self-quarantine when possible.
As of 2:00 PM Thursday, the Ohio Department of Health has reported 40,004 confirmed and probable cases, 6,753 hospitalizations, and 2,490 deaths in Ohio.
