April 10, 2020 Wyandot County Public Health COVID-19 Update:
As of 10:30 AM, there are a total of 9 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Wyandot County. This includes one death and one hospitalization. Do not rely on the number of positive tests to determine when you need to protect yourself. Continue to practice social distancing. The Stay at Home Order was put in place to protect citizens through self-quarantine. Please take these regulations seriously to keep Wyandot County healthy. Please see Facebook for specific Wyandot data.
The Ohio Department of Health reported 5,878 confirmed cases, 1,755 hospitalizations, and 231 deaths in Ohio as of 2:00 PM. For additional statewide case information visit: https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/covid-19/
Governor DeWine recommends that everyone wears a cloth mask when in public. These masks protect those around you by preventing the spread of your germs. You must still maintain 6 foot social distance at all times. Using washable cloth masks allows medical grade supplies to be reserved for healthcare workers and first responders.
