April 2, 2020: COVID-19 Update

April 2, 2020 Wyandot County Public Health COVID-19 Update:

Are you concerned about an elderly neighbor or family member getting the nutrition they need? You can help protect the at-risk senior population by limiting their need to leave their homes for food. The Wyandot County Council on Aging provides meals for persons aged 60 or older. Five frozen meals and a quart of milk are delivered on Mondays at a recommended donation of $5 per meal. If you would like to pay it forward by enrolling a qualifying Wyandot County resident, please call Jill for more details at (419) 294-5733. To keep the senior community safe during this COVID-19 outbreak, $25 is a small price to pay.

Currently, there are two confirmed cases of coronavirus in Wyandot County. Do not rely on the number of positive tests to determine when you need to protect yourself. Continue to practice social distancing. The Stay at Home Order was put in place to protect citizens through self-quarantine. Please take these regulations seriously to keep Wyandot County healthy.
