Measles, Mumps, Rubella Vaccine

mmrOhio is experiencing the worst outbreak of both measles (73 cases as of 5-19-2014) and mumps (361 cases as of 5-19-2014) in nearly two decades. Both of these diseases can be prevented with on-time vaccinating.

The MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine is given to infants 12 to 15 months of age. A booster is given after the child’s 4th birthday. Two MMR vaccines are among the vaccines required for a child’s entry into school.

Protect your child. Don’t let others infect your child.
